Group B and C Educational Qualification
For the Sub-Inspector (Master) position, candidates must have passed 12th grade from a recognized board or university and possess a Master Certificate issued by the Water Transport Authority or Marine Department.
For the Sub-Inspector (Engine Driver) position, candidates must have passed 12th grade from a recognized board or university and hold an Engine Driver Certificate.
For the Head Constable (Master) position, candidates must have passed 10th grade from a recognized board and possess a Serang Certificate.
For the Head Constable (Engine Driver) position, candidates must have passed 10th grade from a recognized board and hold a 2nd Class Engine Driver Certificate.
For the Head Constable (Workshop) position, candidates must have passed 10th grade from a recognized board and have an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate in the relevant trade. The trades include Mechanic (Diesel/Petrol Engine), Electrician, AC Technician, Electronics, Machinist, Carpenter, and Plumber.
For the Constable (Crew) position, candidates must have passed 10th grade from a recognized board, have at least 1 year of experience in the operation of a boat and must be good at swimming.
For the BSF Water Wing Recruitment 2024, the age requirements vary by position. Candidates applying for the Sub-Inspector (Master) and Sub-Inspector (Engine Driver) positions must be between 22 and 28 years of age. For the Head Constable (Master, Engine Driver, and Workshop) and constable positions, candidates must be between 20 and 25 years of age.
