IBPS CRP RRB XIII Recruitment Notice 2024, Check Officers Post Eligibility Criteria and Apply Online

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced the recruitment for CRP RRB XIII for the year 2024. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 9995 vacancies for various posts, including Group “A”- Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”- Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in RRBs across India.

The application process started on June 7, 2024, and will continue until June 27, 2024. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply online within the specified dates.

CRP RRB XIII Eligibility Criteria

Office Assistants (Multipurpose): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent. Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRBs. Desirable: Working knowledge of computers.

Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates with degrees in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, or Accountancy. Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRBs. Desirable: Working knowledge of computers.

Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Preference for candidates with degrees in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, and Accountancy. Two years of experience as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.

Officer Scale-II (Specialist Officers): Specific qualifications and experience required as per the field of specialization.

Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution

Age Limits

  • Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager): 18 – 30 years
  • Officer Scale II (Manager): 21 – 32 years
  • Officer Scale III (Senior Manager): 21 – 40 years
  • Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 18 – 28 years
  • Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-servicemen candidates as per rules.

IBPS Officer Posts Selection Process

Preliminary Examination- The selection process begins with the Preliminary Examination, which serves as the initial screening stage. This exam tests the candidates’ basic knowledge and aptitude in subjects relevant to the position they are applying for.

Main Examination- Candidates who pass the Preliminary Examination move on to the Main Examination. High scores in this exam are crucial for advancing to the interview stage.

Interview (for Officer Scale I, II, III)- For candidates applying for Officer Scale I, II, and III positions, the interview stage follows the Main Examination. This stage evaluates the candidates’ communication skills, professional knowledge, and suitability for the role.

Registration Fee

The application fee for the recruitment process varies based on the position and category of the candidate. For Officer (Scale I, II, and III) positions, the fee for SC/ST/PWBD candidates is Rs. 175/- (inclusive of GST), while for all other candidates, it is Rs. 850/- (inclusive of GST).

For the Office Assistant (Multipurpose) position, the fee for SC/ST/PWBD/ESM/DESM candidates is Rs. 175/- (inclusive of GST), and for all other candidates, it is Rs. 850/- (inclusive of GST). These fees cover the costs associated with processing applications and conducting examinations.
