SSC Junior Engineer Selection Process

In order to proceed to the next exam, candidates need to achieve a minimum score in the initial computer-based test, Paper-I. For Paper II, selection is based on the scores obtained in Paper I, taking into account fairness adjustments if the test is conducted in multiple shifts. This is particularly important for those in the Electrical and Mechanical engineering categories.

The final selection depends on the performance of the candidates in both exams and their job preferences. The allocation of jobs is made based on the merit and preferences provided by the candidates.
