GHC Steno Recruitment Selection Procedure
To be considered for the post, candidates must clear all stages of the selection process, which includes an elimination test, a stenography/skill test, and a viva voce.
The first stage is the Elimination Test, which consists of objective-type questions. This test filters candidates based on their knowledge and skills. Those who pass the elimination test will proceed to the Stenography/Skill Test, which evaluates their stenography abilities. The final stage is the Viva Voce, an oral test that assesses communication skills, personality, and overall suitability for the role. Only candidates who clear both the elimination and skill tests will reach this stage.
Examination Schedule
The competitive examination is set to take place on June 16, 2024. Following this, the results will be announced in July 2024. Candidates who qualify in the competitive examination will be called for skill tests and interviews, which are scheduled to commence in August or September 2024. The exact dates for the skill tests and interviews will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates in due course.
English Steno Exam Scheme
- The elimination test consists of objective-type questions.
- The exam includes 100 questions, and candidates are given 75 minutes to complete it.
- Each question is worth 1 mark, but there is a penalty of 0.33 marks for each wrong answer.
- The question paper will be in English, with some questions in Gujarati.
