Eligibility Criteria for DPSE Course 2024
Educational Qualification
A candidate must completely satisfy the following eligibility conditions by the application deadline. Failure to do so will result in the rejection of the application:
- Applicants must have successfully passed the Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University. A minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required for admission to the D.P.S.E. course.
- Applicants with pending qualifying examination results are also eligible to apply and participate in the Computer Based Test (CBT).
A 5% relaxation in the qualifying marks is provided for candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories. Thus, candidates from these categories are eligible with 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit is 24 years as of September 30, 2024. Candidates who are members of the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories are eligible for an age relaxation of 5 years in the upper limit, provided they submit a valid certificate from a recognized authority.
Application Fee
Upon completing the online application form, candidates must pay the non-refundable application fee exclusively through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or RuPay. Payment of this fee is compulsory; applications without the fee payment will be automatically rejected.
