The Uttar Pradesh Panchayati Raj Department has announced a recruitment drive for the year 2024. They are looking to fill 4821 job positions. These positions are for UP Panchayat Sahayak (यूपी पंचायत सहायक) and Accountant Cum Data Entry Operator (DEO).

Candidates must have completed 12th/Intermediate from a recognized university or board and must be residents of the same Gram Panchayat from where they are applying.
Candidates must be between 18 to 40 years of age. Upper age relaxation is provided for reserved categories as per government rules.
Registration Fee- There is no application fee required for any candidates applying for these posts.
UP Panchayat Sahayak and DEO Selection Process
The first step is to create an eligibility list based on the academic performance of the candidates. The list is organized in descending order according to the average marks obtained in High School (10th) and Intermediate (12th) examinations. If two or more candidates have the same average marks, priority is given to the older candidate based on their date of birth.
If candidates have the same marks and are of the same age, the candidate who submitted their application first is given priority. The prepared merit list is then submitted to the Administrative Committee of the respective Gram Panchayat for review and approval.
A district-level committee chaired by the District Magistrate reviews the merit list. If they approve it, the list is then forwarded to the Gram Panchayat, which issues appointment letters to the selected candidates.
