TS UG Admission 2024, DOST Applications Released, Check Notification and Apply Online

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released the notification for Telangana Degree Admissions 2024. The online admissions for undergraduate courses for 2024 under the TS DOST program are open for programs including B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., and B.Com. (Voc), B.Com. (Hons), BSW, BBA, BBM, BCA, and D-Pharmacy.

The admission program is divided into three phases. The first phase has started and will run from May 6, 2024, to May 25, 2024. This phase allows students to register and choose their preferred courses and colleges. The courses are available at colleges affiliated with Osmania University, Kakatiya University, Telangana University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Palamuru University, Satavahana University, Telangana Mahila Vishwa Vidyalayam (Women’s University), and JNTU.

Telangana UG Admission Eligibility Criteria 

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have successfully completed the Intermediate or 12th class from a recognized board to be eligible to apply.

Age Limits

Specific age limits are not detailed in the notification. Generally, eligibility is based on educational qualifications.

Registration Fee

A one-time registration fee of Rs. 200 is required for all the colleges/courses of one or more universities. It is payable through various online modes, including Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, and UPI.

How to Apply for Telangana DOST 2024?

To initiate the DOST-2024 admission process, students need to generate a DOST ID by following one of the methods below:

Method I: Aadhaar Mobile OTP Authentication

  1. Students whose Aadhaar number is already linked to their mobile number can directly register on the DOST website using mobile OTP authentication.
  2. If the Aadhaar number is not linked, the student or their parent must link a mobile number to the student’s Aadhaar at an Aadhaar Update Centre.

Method II: Registration via DOST Mobile App

  1. Students should download the DOST Mobile App from the DOST website onto their smartphones.
  2. Register by entering the mobile number to receive an OTP.
  3. Upon entering the OTP, DOST authentication services are activated on the dashboard.
  4. Students must enter personal details such as name, date of birth, mobile number, and Aadhaar number.
  5. Proceed to the face recognition service, navigate through it with a live photo, and upon successful matching, the DOST ID is generated.
  6. Students can then pay the registration fee and fill in the application form.

Method III: Biometric Authentication at MeeSeva Centre

  1. Students can opt for biometric authentication (finger print, iris, or face authentication) and register for DOST at a MeeSeva Centre.

Method IV: Registration via T-App Folio Mobile App

  1. Download the T-App Folio mobile app, which includes a DOST ID generation service.
  2. Enter the TSBIE hall ticket number, date of birth, Aadhaar number, and mobile number.
  3. Upon verification and successful authentication of a live photograph with the TSBIE database, a DOST Reference ID is generated.
  4. This ID is sent via SMS and displayed on the app, allowing students to generate a DOST ID on the DOST website and proceed with further registration steps.
