JE Tier- 1 Result Preparation Process

The process of preparing the SSC JE (Junior Engineer) result begins with the release of the provisional answer key. This allows candidates to review and challenge any discrepancies. Following this, the evaluation of candidates’ performance in the Tier 1 examination takes place.

Each answer is checked against the revised official answer key. Scores are then calculated by assigning marks for correct answers according to the marking scheme. Once the scores are calculated, the results are compiled to provide an overview of each candidate’s performance.

The SSC establishes a cut-off criterion based on overall performance, exam difficulty, and available vacancies. Candidates who meet or exceed this cut-off are shortlisted for the Tier 2 examination.
