Educational Qualification
- General Stream: Master’s Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma (minimum two years) in any discipline or Bachelor’s Degree in Law/Engineering or professional qualifications like CA, CFA, CS, CMA.
- Legal Stream: Bachelor’s Degree in Law and two years of post-qualification experience as an Advocate.
- Information Technology Stream: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a post-graduate qualification in computer science/IT.
- Engineering Electrical Stream: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with specific work experience.
- Research Stream: Master’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in relevant fields like Economics, Finance, Statistics, etc.
- Official Language Stream: Master’s Degree in Hindi/Translation with English or Master’s Degree in relevant fields with Hindi.
The maximum age for candidates should not exceed 30 years as of March 31, 2024. Candidates must have been born on or after April 1, 1994. Age relaxation is provided as per the government norms: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, and varying relaxation for PWD candidates.
The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS categories is Rs. 1000 plus 18% GST. For SC, ST, and PwBD categories, the fee is Rs. 100 plus 18% GST. The fee can be paid online through various payment methods such as credit/debit cards, UPI, etc.

SEBI Assitant Manager Selection Process
The selection process for SEBI Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) recruitment consists of three phases:
Phase I: An online screening exam with two papers (100 marks each) covering General Awareness, English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and specialized subjects. Candidates must secure a minimum overall cut-off of 40% to qualify for Phase II.
Phase II: Another online exam with two papers (100 marks each), testing English drafting skills and specialized subjects relevant to the stream. Candidates need an overall cut-off of 50% to advance to the interview phase.
Phase III: An interview carrying 15% weightage, while Phase II marks carry 85%. Additional weightage is given for relevant post-qualification experience in specific streams. Final selection is based on combined scores from Phase II and the interview
