KTET Exam Schedule

The Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) for 2024 will be conducted over two days. On 22nd June 2024, the exams for Category 1 (Lower Primary) and Category 2 (Upper Primary) posts will take place, and 23rd June 2024 will be reserved for the exams for Category 3 (High School) and Category 4 (Language Teachers, Specialist Teachers, and Physical Education Teachers). Each examination day is divided into two shifts. From 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, the morning shift will be for Categories 1 and 3. The afternoon shift, from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm, is for Categories 2 and 4.

Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test Paper Pattern

Each of the exams for categories A, B, C, and D comprises 150 multiple-choice questions. Each question carries 1 mark, and candidates are given 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam and there is no penalty for incorrect answers, meaning there is no negative marking.
