The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) completed the Class 10 examinations for the 2023-24 session. The exams started on 15 February 2024 and ended on 13 March 2024. About 17 million students took the examination, which was conducted all over the country, and are eagerly waiting for the CBSE Board 10th results to be out.

The CBSE is expected to publish the results in the first week of May 2024, although this date is based on trends from previous years and is not yet confirmed officially. CBSE Board 10th Result Date

The CBSE Class 10 results are expected to be released in the first week of May. Please note that this date is provisional and subject to confirmation. Students are advised to keep an eye on the official CBSE notifications or their school’s announcements for the exact release date of the Class 10 results.

CBSE 10th Marksheet Details

The CBSE Class 10 marksheet is an important document that shows a student’s performance in the board exams. It includes the student’s name, roll number, school name, and subject-wise marks. The mark sheet also displays grades, total marks, and qualifying status. If a student doesn’t clear any subject, the marksheet will show whether they need to appear for compartment exams. Board 10th Previous Year Statistics

In 2023, CBSE Class 10 exams had an impressive overall pass rate of 93.12%. Among the 21,84,117 students who registered, 21,65,805 sat for the exam and 20,16,779 passed. However, there were notable differences in performance based on gender, with girls achieving a higher pass rate of 94.25% compared to boys, who had a pass rate of 92.72%.

In addition, the results varied significantly by region, indicating disparities in educational achievements across different areas. Trivandrum, Bengaluru, and Chennai stood out with exceptionally high pass rates. Among them, Trivandrum took the lead with a pass rate of 99.91% in 2023.

How to Check CBSE Class 10 Result?

  3.  Input your roll number using your admit card.
  4. Provide your date of birth.
  5. After entering the required details, you’ll be redirected to a new page where you can see your CBSE Class 10 result.

  • Dial the CBSE result helpline number.
  • For Delhi 24300699 and if you are outside Delhi, dial 011 – 24300699.
  • Follow the instructions provided via voice prompts.
  • Enter your roll number, school number, and admit card ID when prompted.
  • You’ll receive the details of your results over the phone.

SMS Method:

  • In the message body, type the following details in this exact format:
    cbse10<space>roll number<space>date of birth<space>school number<space>centre number.
  • Send this composed message to 7738299899, the number designated by the CBSE for SMS results.


  • Visit the DigiLocker website or use the DigiLocker app.
  • Sign in or register for an account.
  • Look for the link to the CBSE Class 10 board exam 2024 results on the homepage under the categories tab.
  • Click the “Submit” button after entering the necessary information.
  • Your CBSE Class 10 result will be displayed.

CBSE Board Class 10 Rechecking and Revaluation 2024

After the announcement of the CBSE Class 10 results, the Central Board of Secondary Education allows students to have their answer sheets rechecked or revalued. This option allows for a second evaluation of their exams to identify and correct any errors in scoring or calculation mistakes made during the initial assessment.

The revaluation process involves a detailed examination of the answer sheets to ensure all answers are marked correctly, marks are totaled accurately, and the recorded scores on the cover page are verified. Students interested in revaluation must apply and pay a fee within the specified deadline.

CBSE Class 10 Compartment Exams 2024

The CBSE also conducts compartment exams for students who did not pass their initial examination or wish to improve their grades. Information regarding the application for the CBSE Class 10 compartment exams will be available on the official website soon after the main results are published.
